North sea and Bremerhaven
jane2, 20:19h
We made it! 950 km cycling through Germany. Almost car free. We found wonderful campgrounds and met friends on the way, Mo cycled every kilometer on his own. Jens helped a tiny little bit in the Sauerland hills.

Pumptrack in Limburg
At the bigge lake we made a rest day visiting one of Germanys biggest caves open to public.

Biggesee
Following minor roads and gravel forest bike tracks we rode up north. Leaving the last hills after passing Osnabrück (we didn‘t even know the Teutoburger Wald had hills at all).

Three long days later we reached the north sea. The kids were a little bit disappointed, when they ran up the dyke and saw nothing but grass. I told them that way out there, somewhere, was the water.

Reaching the north sea

Later that day, the water was back and we stood at the sea.

One day later we reached our final destination Bremerhaven.
They have a huge climate museum, it’s wonderful, and what could be better, than coming here on our bicycles?
950 km! We made it!
